PRES Lecture Series

The Projects and Research of English Students (PRES) Lecture Series is a student-run lecture series launched in January 2021 which offers masters and doctoral students at UW's Department of English the opportunity to showcase their research for the other members of the program and department. The lectures discuss some aspect of the presenter’s current research, such as a thesis/dissertation/MRP chapter or section.

PRES lectures take place during the fourth week of each month. They are held online, in an hour-long synchronous session that all members of the program are welcome to attend. Sessions will consist of a brief introduction, a 20-minute lecture by the presenter, and an open questions period of about 20-25 minutes.

See calendar of past and future lecture dates here.
